The Best Frozen Green Beans

After a break of dealing with some personal matters we are now deep into this Corona Virus quarantine. I’m sure it is hard for everyone having to stay home and seclude yourself.  For over a month we have been instructed to stay home and to go out in public as little as possible. All-in-all, to also try not to go crazy from lack of human contact. It has given me an opportunity to catch up on recipes and create some that involve ingredients that you may have laying around in your pantry or freezer. With a few simple steps you can turn a bag of frozen green beans into a very flavorful side dish.

Since sometimes you are lacking in the ability to get your hands on fresh veggies, this recipe is the perfect use of a frozen bag lacking texture and flavor. With a few simple steps you can turn a boring bag of frozen green beans into an edible and flavorful side dish using ingredients laying around your kitchen!

  • 2 Tbs. butter
  • 12 oz. frozen green beans
  • 3/4 c. water
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 2 Tbs. grated Parmesan
  • 1/3 c. pistachios, roughly chopped
